From one shaping bay to every coastline
Tide Boards was founded in 2009 by a crew of ocean-obsessed shapers who wanted one thing: equipment that rides better and lasts longer. Our first boards were laminated by hand in a rented workshop — and tested the same weekend.
Seventeen years on, that workshop is a global team of engineers, athletes and material scientists. What hasn't changed is the loop: shaper → rider → feedback → better board. Every product still spends more time on water than on a whiteboard.
Today we build paddleboards, windsurf gear, wings and foils — and we give back more than we take through our Plastic Offset Program and Ocean Positive manufacturing.

Innovation through time
The shaping bay
First hand-shaped boards roll out of a rented workshop. The name comes from the crew's mantra: ride every tide.
First world title
Our riders take their first international podiums, proving the gear where it matters — on the race course.
Composite breakthrough
Xtec Carbon construction launches: lighter, stiffer, and the beginning of our recycled-core program.
Foil revolution
Wing and foil lines debut. The Drift and Ember platforms set the pace for the next five seasons.
Ocean Positive
Every board offsets its plastic footprint through coastline clean-ups — over 400 tonnes removed with partner crews.
