A handcrafted miniature tiered bookshelf with four open shelves, built at 1:12 dollhouse scale in warm walnut. A small ladder leans beside the unit, just as in a library, so tiny books can be staged on every level — a small-batch piece made one at a time in our workshop.

Details

The frame is built from solid walnut with four evenly spaced open shelves held in side panels joined by real dowels rather than glued-on strips. The small leaning ladder is a separate piece with its own slender rails and tiny rungs, so it can be moved around rather than fixed to the shelf.

Each shelf edge is sanded by hand and finished with several thin coats of hand-rubbed linseed oil, giving the unit a low-luster warmth that lets miniature book spines stand out against it. We leave the back open so the shelf reads lightly against a dollhouse wall or a neutral background on display, and every unit is finished in small batches with its own grain pattern.

Each bookshelf is made to order and usually leaves our workshop within 3–5 business days. US orders ship tracked via USPS in 2–5 business days; international shipping is available with tracking. The shelf and separate ladder are padded in layers to protect the oil finish, and we ask that you inspect it on arrival — contact us within 14 days if anything needs attention.
